First AND Second Year Howzavee Arabic Grammar Classes

If somebody came and told you that you could earn Howzavee credit without the hassle of visas, plane tickets, accomodations, being away from your family, and all other obstacles that come in our [youth in the DC area interested in attending Howze] way, what would you do? Alhamdolilah, we are proud to announce sessions with Sheikh Bahraini, Imam and Dirctor of the Islamic Education Center, in the rules of Arabic grammar. We will be studying the poems that describe all rules of Arabic grammar, written by Ibne Malek, through the tafseer of Mullah Jalaludeen Suyootee.

Tribute to the Shohada

We always hear of the bravery of Sayidush-shuhada...how he stood up to such an army when all forces were against him...how he gave his life for what he truly believed in...how he stood in front of batel to allow haqq to prevail, even if that called for the sacrifice of his life...But are all these just stories? For the common person, really sometimes it becomes hard to understand the concept of a martyr...who are they, why give your life for something that you will not even be able to enjoy even if it is accomplished? The fact is that we still have people like this today...In memory of the people whose lives were lost in a "program" for Imam Hussein (AS), we will take a look at some of those people throughout the coming weeks...
